Judy and I have been married since August 1981. We are both from Ohio and have lived in Missouri, Iowa, Ohio, and Michigan. We have four grown, adult children.
Jennifer is our oldest and graduated from Cedarville University (Ohio) and married Grant Felbaum last December. They live in Columbus, Ohio. Jennifer is teaching at a charter school in Columbus. She served two years as a missionary teacher in Suriname, South America. Grant is a graduate from Purdue and University of Toledo Law School.
Josh is married to Haley and lives in Irish Hills, Michigan. He began serving in the U.S. Marines in 2003 and was severely wounded while in Iraq (You can view our journey through this time at Burdine’s Adventures). He received a medical discharge in January 2010, works at Cabela’s Sporting Goods, and is taking a few classes at Adrian College. Haley graduated from University of Toledo and works at Monroe Hospital.
Jill is married to Christopher Henderson. They live in West Milton, Ohio (north of Dayton) and have our first grandchild, Ellie, born on October 1, 2009. She is a stay-at-home mom. Christopher is a welder.
Justin is a student at University of Toledo and has been majoring in environmental science. He is very involved in Campus Crusade for Christ and will spend the summer at Virginia Beach in ministry.
